The Few is coming out January 18th from writer and playwright Sean Lewis and artist Hayden Sherman. Saints marked the comic book debut of Sean Lewis, who is well known as a contributor on This American Life and as a theater writer and director of Dogs of Rwanda. Illustrator Hayden Sherman is the co-creator of The Few and previously has deigned art work for Avengers Origins and Civil War.

This science fiction story takes place in a dystopian future world. The underlying themes of this comic book are billed as a combination of Mad Max and Station Eleven.

We follow two survivalist brothers in their journey across this landscape. When they happen to cross paths with a woman asleep in the woods, holding nothing but a gun and a baby wearing a gas mask, they are thrust into a whole new direction. Secrets are revealed and revolutions plotted as they fight for survival.

The Few is being published by Image Comics and will be available in comic book stores from January 18.
