New Green Lantern movie
A Green Lantern sequel has been announced, with a production budget reportedly of $200 million. The preliminary release date is attached to 2020. The first Green Lantern film was released starring Ryan Reynolds in 2011.
Whether or not the next edition will be directly canonical to the first movie is unknown, but the new production is expected to elaborate on the universe featured in the 2011 Warner Bros film. The Green Lantern mythology will be the foundational concepts in the Green Lantern Corps film. An exciting direction that cinematic audiences may anticipate is a delving into of the origin of the alien interstellar police force.
